I started 0260 Labs nearly 5 years ago, May 5 2020 to be exact.

At the time I had no real game-plan. The reality of my situation was the money had run out (again) and I needed to get back in the saddle (again).

The hardest part about starting a business is starting from zero.

Zero brand awareness. Zero social following. Zero referrals.

Hardcore outbound is all you've got. It is a brutal way to build a business. If you are successful, it will leave you with PTSD. If you are unsuccessful, it will leave you working for someone else.

And well, working for someone else simply was not an option.

If you want to build your own business, understand that it will be the hardest thing you will ever do. And the only way you will be successful is if you figure out how to consistently solve problems for people at a high level.

In other words, you must be worth talking about. You must be substantially better than your competition, so much so that your customers spread the word for you. You see, happy customers love to bring you more customers. You can get just about everything else wrong, but get this right, and you will have a wildly successful business.

So don’t chase “the money,” instead chase “the problem.”

And you will never have to worry about “the money” again for the rest of your life.
